You can also make bark mulch by using a wood chipper and making it yourself, but it is probably easier for you to simply buy it. You can usually buy it in different amounts, and in different sizes.

How to Use Bark Mulch

There are many uses for bark mulch. The most common use is to put it under trees and bushes, in the areas where grass won’t grow. You can make neat circles under trees and bushes, by filling in the empty space with the bark mulch and then outlining it with bricks or other landscaping materials. This will cover in a place that you couldn’t’ get grass to grow anyway, and it will do it in a very neat and beautiful way.

You can also use bark mulch in the same way in your gardens. By putting it along the soil, around the roots of your plants, you are going to insure that you will see quite a difference in not only how your plants grow and look, but the overall appearance of your garden as a whole. Remember that when you are using bark mulch you should be looking for mulch that is organic and does not have any chemicals in it, because the chemicals might hurt your soil or your plants. It is always best to buy natural bark mulch.
